Gael's Biography

With an array of skills, knowledge and experience, Gael has become a cutting-edge producer/engineer and business entrepreneur. Being franco-mexican, having traveled around the world, and speaking five languages (english, spanish, italian, french and japanese) has allowed him to bring cultural diversity into his work. Gael was born in mexico city but lived most of his chillhood and teenage days in the city of Cancun. He started playing piano at the age of 6 and saxophone at the age of 10. After being in bands and performing during his highschool years he went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Music Production and Engineering from Berklee College of Music in 2005 at Boston MA.

During his college years he got an early start at the "real world" with different projects like recording string orchestras for the "Berlin Staatsoper Ballet", being an artist representative for (latin grammy winning artist) "Caribbean Jazz Project" at the "Riviera Maya Jazz Festival" (2003), acting as concert manager for Heavy Rotation Records and mixing live shows at renowned venues like the BPC (Berklee Performance Center).

As a freelance producer, songwriter and sound engineer, his collaborations include engineer/producer Pablo Munguia (Celine Dione, Super Bowl), mexican pop artist Yahir, opera pop duo Ryan Dan, mexican mariachi singers Pepe Aguilar, Aida Cuevas and Marisela, well known songwriters/producers Steve Anderson (Kyleie Minogue) and Lisa Green (Britney Spears) among many others. Corporate clients include Warner Latino, IM Records, Westlake Studios, Universal Music.
